Rokumote X Remote for Roku App Reviews

I didnt think this was going to work bc of reviews, but I tried it anyway. And it works! Go to settings and search for roku player. I have an old roku and it found it quickly, and is now working! Thank you to the other reviewers who told me to do this! So, Im passing on the info! Love this much more than the controller. In fact, I hate the controller. Will be using this all the time now! Woohoo!! Thanks for the great app!!! I only gave 4 stars bc if you want more features you have to pay. Give this app a try, its free, nothing to lose!

App worked as advertised. Find the IP address of your Roku and plug in the numbers with the periods. I used Fing on my kindle and found the ip of all 5 devices in my home and it even told me which one was the roku.

If you cant use the official ROKU app (ios 4.3+) this is well worth the .99 for unlocking the full features. Working on my 3G like a champ!

We lost the remote for our ancient Roku and we were almost resolved to spending $20+ on a new remote when I found this app. It detected and connected to my Roku perfectly and I have all the functions available again. Thanks for such a useful app.

Always disconnecting. Sometimes wont find the Roku in the same room. Renames them every time it reconnects. The iPhone ap is much more reliable.

Not good. Cant see the channels unless you pay $.99. Dont mind paying but do not switch and bait.

App does indeed remotely control...but screenshot clearly shows the Channels which you do not get with this version.

It does works so everybody just be quiet all u have that do is put your stuff in .

Doesnt work....bait to get you to purchase the app.

Roku and iPhone are both on my only wifi network. My iPhone can ping the Roku. This app will not connect to my Roku XDS.

All I needed was just A remote that worked!! This app works! I have 3 roku systems set up in my house and it connected to all 3 of them within a second or two! Awesome! Thats all I wanted. Who cares about how pretty it looks it just gets the job done.

The remote is great it needs a back button I always have to push the home button and reopen the app instead of there being a back button.

Downloaded this cause I lost my official roku remote and forgot the email and password I used to set up my roku box so I couldnt use the official app. App connected easily to roku and it works fine but it has a huge problem of not including a back button. Every time you need to go back you need to go all the way back to the home menu. Not using again...

99% sure thats one of the key buttons, how could you miss it?? smh

Get the one from Roku. It works perfectly. Savvydaddy needs to work on being more savvy. This app does not work at all. Cannot see Roku device. Piece of crap. Glad that based on habit and general satisfaction I did not blindly pay $.99 for the upgraded version.

Love it. Easy to setup and use. Loads fast and came in handy when I could not find my remote.
